After a lifetime away

Tent pegs and lavender have been my mantra for life for a long time now. I think most things can be fixed with these two essential items.

So how was it that in 2023 I ended up moving my entire life to a rented property in West Yorkshire? Not a tent peg in sight. The universe works in strange ways, and I felt that it was time to move - so I did.

I found a job working in a school in Leeds and in my typical optimistic and impetuous fashion thought life would slot in. It seems I was wrong.

The job was awful - bullying and nastiness all round. The life I thought I was going to have collapsed and I was left alone.

The lavender oil was useful as I picked myself up and with resilence carried on. I stuck at the job, found a house to buy, my daughter came to live with me and nearly two years later I feel that life is finally getting back on track.
